The standout feature of Cherry Street Bistro is undoubtedly the exceptional service. Posts frequently mention the warmth of the staff, making every visitor feel welcomed and appreciated. The great coffee consistently wins rave reviews, alongside the delicious desserts that provide a sweet treat for any occasion.
Many visitors love the outdoor patio, which is perfect for enjoying a meal or cup of coffee in the sun. The affordability of the menu also impresses patrons; you can enjoy a hearty meal without breaking the bank. The bistro’s extensive drink menu, particularly the coffee varieties, satisfies caffeine cravings before or after exploring local attractions. Breakfast and lunch dishes receive high marks, with favorites like the grilled chicken sandwich and the black bean burger standing out.
Most Disliked
Some customers express disappointment regarding the lack of a dedicated chef during weekends. This sometimes means that options lean towards pre-made items instead of freshly prepared dishes, particularly in the display case. Regulars might miss the excitement of the full menu experience during this time.
While the ambiance is generally loved, during peak hours, the busy atmosphere can lead to longer wait times for food and drinks. For those looking for a quiet meal or study session, visiting during off-peak hours might be more ideal. Additionally, some customers wish for more variety in the brunch offerings, highlighting room for expansion in menu choices for the weekend crowd.

It’s beautiful in here! The food is absolutely delicious and service is perfect. Super kind people. The only thing that’s not my favorite is there are no chefs on the weekend, so you have to get something pre-made in the display case.

Friendly, affordable. Had a grilled chicken sandwich with sundried tomato pesto, 5 stars. Ready to go options lean more towards breakfast and treats. Will be back soon.

I've found a gem! The food, coffee, service, and atmosphere is very good! It's clean and inviting, especially the people that work there, they make you feel so welcomed! Plus, they also have a yummy brunch on Sundays, with indoor and outdoor seating. It's almost right across the street from the George Fox University stadium, 10007 E. Fulton St. Newberg.

Yummy food, great prices and excellent service. A cute little place to get together. Homemade ice cream! And a dinner menu as well! It is located within a non profit, so no advertising or outside signage. Main entrance to the retirement community, turn left, go thru the double doors on the left with the gazebo. Double doors again on the left.

Love their hot chocolate in the morning...Love the hamburger with caramelized onions and melted brie for lunch with great fries...And the dinners are fabulous and so reasonably priced. We have tried the roasted salmon, beef stroganoff (a special one evening), fried calamari, Caesar salad, beef stew (another special). Well worth checking out for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
